One of the key objectives of the Begbies Global Network is to support its members in enhancing their reputations in their domestic markets and in particular to make them the “go to” firm for local professionals whose clients need assistance in foreign markets.
So we were delighted to follow up the highly successful BGN members’ meeting in Buenos Aires with a two day seminar programme run jointly with Naveira, Truffat, Martínez, Anido, Lorente & López the law firm which represents the network in Argentina and where our very good friend, Javier Lorente is a partner.

How many business miles have you clocked up in how many countries over the past year?
About 200,000 across 21 countries, including Jordan and Syria which are up there as interesting experiences with Serbia and Tanzania in earlier years. But Kenya at the height of the tribal violence in 2009 is top of my recent list.
